Femininity, a construct deeply embedded in our cultural fabric, has played a significant role in defining and limiting the lives of individuals across time and space. Scales aims to peel back the layers of this construct, exposing the illusions and inviting viewers to question the limitations it imposes on personal freedom, expression, and empowerment.

The exhibition features a collection of multi-disciplinary works including taxidermy, stop motion animation, and large-scale photographic prints. Wood seeks to challenge traditional notions of gender, dismantling the binaries that confine and restrict our understanding of what it means to be feminine.
